College is not for everyone. We are not discouraging you, but rather informing you that there are other options for you to choose. For instance, you can:
- Attend vocational/trade school
- Join any of the armed forces (ex: navy, army, air force, marines)
- You can get an earn an education while in service, or they'll fund your education after your service
- Join the Peace Corps
- Work full-time to save money for college
- Start attending at a community college and later transfer to a bigger university or college.
Before you decide if college is for you or not, research on what type of job or career that you maybe interested in. And learn the requirements that may help in your future profession. Depending on your choice, you may only need an associate's degree or not.
