Preparation for ACT/SAT
- Attend a preparation course to taking ACT/SAT
- Online preparation is available for ACT
- Practice the practice exams found in your local library.
- Need to start preparing at the end of your sophomore year
- Latest to take ACT is during the first semester of you senior year.
- Taking SAT is recommended if applying out of state
- Not that many Illinois colleges/universities look at the SAT scores.
Required scores for admission at the university
- ACT: 19 or better
- SAT: 950 or better
I would try not to just aim at the minimal score, aim for the better score!
